Albuquerque Warrior Arts is owned by Andrew Webb, B.A., M.L.A. Andrew is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) with over 40 years experience in martial arts. A former amateur boxer and professional kickboxer, Andrew won two silver medals at the 1999 U.S. National Karate Championships held by the American Amateur Karate Federation. He holds black belts and/or instructor licenses in:
- Sangaku Ryu Jujutsu
- Itto Tenshin Ryu Kenjutsu
- Nippon Koryu Karate Do
- Mande Muda Pencak Silat
- Mande Muda Tri Suwanda Pencak Silat
- Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do
- Warrior Arts/Russian Systema
He has also trained in Libre Knife Fighting and several Filipino weapon systems. He is a founding member and sits on the board of directors of Stay Bladed, an international federation of blade enthusiasts and practitioners with 72 chapters and over 30,000 members.
As a professional educator, Andrew earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Trinity University and a Master of Liberal Arts in literature from Southern Methodist University. Andrew spent 12 years as a Director of Education, Director of Instruction, and Campus Director at colleges in Dallas and Albuquerque. His experience in education contributes to his ability to convey information simply and clearly.
